I started as a teenager, then it took a backseat for a little while because of my first marriage. Then in my second marriage my ex messed it up for me. But I have consistently been doing music since June of 2020

Great presentation. I have windows, so it'll be one of those compatible. Cakewalk by bandlab is allegedly very user friendly but discontinuing. I loaded it, but it won't even let me verify/sign in using the user name I personally entered. I'm going to uninstall it and probably go with Reaper. ....I used to play, and record with bands. It was on tape, to let you know how old I am. Anyway, thanks for the information and fun.

Great review bro! I just ordered mine, I have an Avalon 737, So am I just taking the XLR that goes into my Apollo right now and running that into the EL8 then get 1 more XLR to go back into the Apollo? So basically Mic-Avalon-EL8-Apollo all with XLR?

I have a reoccurring issue of my audio getting robotic and distorted after a few minutes. i change the audio output to something, then change it back and it's fine for a few more minutes, but inevitably it goes wonky again. Everytime. Had to uninstall and put it in the closet. Cannot get it to work properly.

Free EQ more similar to SSL UAD than the waves did , I heard a massive difference between UAD EQ than the Waves , UAD was more airy and smooth compared to the ruggyness of the waves

Best thing was hearing the hardware Neve being used. I wish I would have seen this video because I just bought Apollo because I thought the Unison pres would do an accurate job for the Neve emulation but nah no way. It's definitely close but can't replace the hardware, no doubt in my personal opinion.

Please hold off on getting any snapdragon laptops. There still really isn’t any driver support so in most cases drivers to get devices like audio interfaces running aren’t able to install. Potentially great products when capability catches up but rn implementation and roll out is lackluster Be careful!
